According to IOTF, fruits and vegetables in the last 20 years became a diet, based on meat, fat food and a very high level of sugar. This change was reflected on children as they eat this kind of food at school. Besides that the authorized person by EC in Cyprus, starts a campaign regarding public health service and the consumer's insurance. The obesity is considered not only as a negative factor, but it is as an additional financial burden on the public health service, which have an negative impact on the national economy in the whole Europe. In present, approximately 8% of the expenses regarding medical service are distributed for the treatment of the persons who suffer of obesity. Greece is situated on the first place regarding the number of persons suffering of obesity. Cyprus is situated on the second place regarding number of men suffering of obesity. This problem is a serious one. This factor has been taken in consideration by the clothing and furniture designers. Even the cyprus villas owners on Cyprus have to buy the fridges and furniture taking in accounts this factor.
